I make films, photos and brands, and I build the places and systems that help other people make things. At Yazaki North America I built and run the Makerspace. Before that I made award-winning fundraising films for Ball State and planned marketing for clients like Amazon Prime Air and Procter & Gamble.
Built and run the Yazaki Makerspace, open since July 2024: six skill areas in 4,654 sq ft, 389 makers and 22 classes. Wrote much of the class content and taught almost half of all classes.
Built its systems in SharePoint and Power Automate: class booking, training records, equipment and safety reporting, and a 74-guide library. Now building a web app to replace them.
Led the R&D Playground (2022–2024), created to bring people back to the office after COVID: technology exhibits, events and 40+ visits from OEMs, suppliers and Yazaki groups.
Ran the AI Olympics, a six-week competition for 90+ associates on 19 teams. Now putting a three-class AI image series online; Class 1, Restore & Remix, is live.
Designed the Yazaki Innovations booth for CES 2023, with its intro film and an HTML kiosk app for the sales team.
Built a self-serve headshot booth used by 1,000+ employees, replacing about two hours of editing per headshot.
Produced plant, testing and recruiting films, including Spanish edits shown to production teams in Mexico.
